The Quadrant in Launceston is where you'll find Mt Elephant Pancakes
if you can't manage a trip to Tasmania's beautiful East Coast.
It's in a cosy and comfortable upstairs setting right by the fountain
that is seen and heard by everyone who sets foot in this charming old-fashioned
area of town.
Instead of gasping the exhaust fumes that plague many a sidewalk café
in this and every other Australian city, why not enjoy your meal as
you look over a quiet and attractive traditional village setting.

Sadly, urban regulations prohibited us from housing our elephants around
the fountain below.....
The Quadrant is a mall found behind the main Commonwealth Bank building,
across the street from the town's major mall on Brisbane Street. Just
go around behind the bank, walk to the mall's fountain and look for
the signs with elephants!
